Delete Your Account and Data

Delete in the app

This is the fastest path and removes your account after you confirm the permanent action.

  1. Open kovaa and go to Profile.
  2. Under Support & Legal, choose Delete Account & Data.
  3. Review the warning and confirm deletion.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@kovaasport.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the email associated with your account. We may request enough information to verify your identity before completing deletion.

What deletion covers

  • Profile details, preferences, settings, goals, and race information.
  • Training plans, workouts, completed sessions, notes, and progress.
  • Health and fitness metrics stored by kovaa, including Apple Health-derived data.
  • Route and GPS-derived workout information imported from a connected service.
  • Generated summaries, feedback, and coaching information tied to the account.

What may remain for a limited time

Primary account records are removed after in-app confirmation. Backup copies may remain until normal backup cycles overwrite them. Limited records may be retained when required or permitted for App Store transactions, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, or enforcement. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may also remain.

Connected services are separate

Deleting kovaa does not delete information held independently by Apple Health, Apple, Google, or another service. Manage Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app.

Strava connectivity is not available in kovaa 1.0. If you connected Strava to an earlier build, that integration is disabled and kovaa removes its stored credentials during account deletion; revoke any remaining grant from your Strava account settings.

kovaa 1.0 does not use OpenAI or another external generative-AI provider, so no external generative-AI copies of your data are held.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent. You will lose access to your plans, training history, progress, and settings. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, and it does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel either one separately in your Apple or Google account settings.
